Grand Bay Building & Development is committed to using building methods and materials that are environmentally friendly. Although “Green” methods continue to evolve each year, Grand Bay strives to be a leader in this important area.

Key areas of focus are:

• Energy Efficiency
  The use of cross ventilation, large covered areas, and overhangs can achieve as much as 20% savings.

• Water Conservation
  Grand Bay utilizes a hot water recirculation system as standard in all custom homes. This delivers hot water immediately to any location throughout the home reducing waste.

• Durability
  Insulated/Impact windows are utilized that withstand high winds up to 140 mph. The Low E glazing also protects the home from ultraviolet light.

• Health/Allergies
  Spray foam insulation is a high performance system that reduces pollution, heat, allergens from entering the home. In addition, the A/C ducts are protected throughout construction to maintain the quality of the air flow once the interior work is completed.
